Thank you to all our supporters for helping us to brighten lives of children for an incredible 30 years!

Our 30th birthday fundraising appeal got off to a flying start on Sunday 25th April! Our Sponsored Bounce and Birthday Party was a great success. Thanks so much to everyone who got involved – together you raised an incredible £1000!

The Wingate Centre wouldn’t be celebrating it’s 30th birthday without the support of the local community who help us to raise the £300,000 we need each year to brighten the lives of the children and young people who visit us. Can you help make a difference? We are looking for businesses, groups and individuals who can do just that and pledge to raise £300 (or more!) this year to help us celebrate 30 wonderful years. Please call 01270 780456 or email catherine@thewingatecentre.co.uk. We’d love to hear from you.

Our thanks go to Bryony Page for hosting our event, chatting to guests and allowing us to take a peek at her amazing Olympic Silver Medal. We are honoured that Bryony is one of our Vice Presidents and a fantastic ambassador for our cause. Bryony said, “It was such an honour being part of Wingate’s 30th Birthday Party and Sponsored Bounce. The event went really well and I’m so glad we were able to raise funds and awareness for the Charity. I caught up with a few old friends and met some very inspiring people who have all really felt the benefits of being part of the Wingate Community. Thinking about how many people the Wingate Centre has helped over the years is something really special.”

We were delighted to be joined by David Briggs, Her Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of Cheshire, Sarah Callandar Becket, High Sheriff of Cheshire and Councillor Penny Butterill, Mayor of Nantwich Town Council, who all came along to enjoy the festivities and meet the Centre’s clients, past and present.

Our Party has even hit the headlines! Thanks again to everyone who came. We loved celebrating with you.
