Our 2017 Fundraising Events Calendar…
We have lots planned for 2017! There’s something for everyone in our events calendar, all in aid of our brilliant cause. Here’s just a taster of some of the ways you can get involved:
13th May. Clay Pigeon Shoot
Our charity clay pigeon shoot is back at Mickley Hall Shooting School on 13th May 2017, after a successful event last year! Open to experienced this is an amazing day which not only tests your shooting abilities but provides excellent camaraderie and team spirit. Cost: £35 p/p which includes entry to the competition and cartridges or £175 per team of five.

1st July. Silver Anniversary Ball
Guests will be welcomed with a drinks reception, followed by a three course meal and entertainment will be provided by our live band – Groove Manuva. The band features some of the best musicians in the North of England. They will play a wide range of music from 60’s, 70’s soul and rock n roll up to modern day party classics. So music to suit all ages and tastes!

13th August 2017 Teddy Bear’s Picnic
Your entrance fee to the picnic will include; access to the beautiful Cholmondeley Castle Gardens, our very special bear hunt, farm yard walks and play area. There will also be a number of fun games and stalls for the children to have a go on.
Online Tickets will be on sale on 1st June
For all online adult tickets purchased you will receive a free child’s ticket. Tickets will be available on the day.

23rd Sept – 2nd Oct Climb Mount Kilimanjaro
On 23rd September we will be joining forces with Redshift Radio, Mid Cheshire Hospitals and C.R.Y for Matthew to Climb Kili and raise funds by hosting a trek climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. So far we have 10 participants but we still have a couple of spaces left if you are looking for a challenge in 2017.
27th September. Open Day at Combermere Gardens
The 27th September will see us returning again to Combermere Abbey for their Open Gardens. This is a fantastic opportunity to stroll around the gardens and explore the ever evolving, restored 5 acre Victorian Walled Gardens of a privately owned historic estate and experience its horticultural splendour.
With stunning views of the lake through The Pleasure Garden and Garden Wood, enjoy a peaceful moment of relaxation.
The magnificently restored Glasshouse sits at the apex of the Walled Gardens within the Abbey’s Fruit Tree Maze, the only one of its kind in the world!
Light refreshments are available and there will be a plant and produce stall too, with the Abbey’s team of gardeners on hand to answer any questions.
Gates open at 1pm and close at 5pm with last admission at 4pm
Admission: Adults – £5.00, Children under 16 – £2.00
Please note that no picnics or dogs are allowed at the Garden Open Afternoons.
