Explore this beautiful Roman city and it’s ancient walls. there is also a vast array of stylish shops and restaurants and regular boat trips run along the River Dee.

Alton Towers, Staffordshire

Another firm favourite amongst our visitors, Alton Towers is particularly good at accommodating groups and also hosts a whole range of events. There is also an excellent water park, Splash Landings.

Gauntlet Birds of Prey, Knutsford

Fantastic bird handling experience for all young people. The handlers are very good at getting everyone involved. They will also come to the Wingate Centre and do a session here in our lovely grounds.

Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester

For older students the museum is an excellent day out. There is just so much to see and do and it’s free.

Liverpool Football Club, Liverpool

All the big football clubs in our area such as Stoke City, Liverpool and Manchester United have excellent ground tours and are very good with disabled groups. An interesting visit for all those football fans.




A bit further a field…

Knowsley Safari Park 

For those who may have mobility difficulties this is a great way to let the wildlife come to you as you watch the animals roam the Knowsley Estate. You can even ride the Baboon Bus! There are also sea lion and birds of prey displays, rides and picnic areas to enjoy!

Llandudno, best North Wales coast resort

This lovely old fashioned seaside town is a great day out with sandy and pebble beaches, a pier, trams and cable car.  There is also a bowling centre for wet days.
