Make a difference today!
We are a small charity with a big heart and big impact. Our work has a direct and positive impact on the lives of disabled and disadvantaged children both locally and nationally. We can’t do this alone and we rely on the support of businesses and the local community to help us make a difference.
All businesses benefit from charity partnerships just as charities benefit from businesses support and expertise. There are a number of ways your business can get involved.
We just love sharing the success stories of our amazing supporters as widely as we can and if your team likes to rise to a challenge, we’ll do the same for them! Fundraising events and team or personal challenges (sponsored bounce anyone?!) are a great way of raising vital funds whilst injecting some fun into the workplace.
Promote your business by sponsoring one of our fundraising events.
Gifts in kind
Help us raise funds by donating a prize for a raffle or an auction or items we can use to help make memories for the children who visit us, like teddies or books
Our premises are huge and require a lot of upkeep. Perhaps your colleagues can visit us for a day and help with our annual gardening and decorating program? Or maybe you can help us out by volunteering to help us out with bag packs or on stalls at fundraising events?
Charity of the year
If you are looking for a charity of the year where you can really see the difference you are making and a cause your colleagues can get really passionate about then look no further.
Meeting room hire – perfect for away days and team-building
If you are looking for somewhere a little different to host your next meeting then why not consider hiring our Rieber Hall for half a day or a day? Our large-self-contained hall can be configured into a meeting space and includes it’s own toilet and kitchen facilities as well as a projector and screen, wifi and light and sound system. Please get in touch for a quote and remember that by hosting your next meeting here, you will be supporting a great cause at the same time.
We are proud and pleased to be supported by Assurant Crewe via the Cheshire Skillshare scheme. Assurant donate their time and business skills to the Wingate Centre as part of their commitment to corporate social responsibility and work hard to understand where they have colleagues with skills that can benefit us. In a short space of time they have supported us with numerous projects and have really taken the Wingate Centre mission to heart, with teams across the company not only sharing their skills but volunteering with us and fundraising on our behalf.
To arrange a visit to the Centre and to discuss how we can help each other please call Catherine Cook, Marketing & Fundraising Manager, on 01270 780456 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
