How can I make a donation to the trust?
A donation to our charity goes a very, very long way and makes a huge difference to the health and well-being of disabled and disadvantaged children.
The Wingate Centre does not receive any government funding and we rely on voluntary contributions from generous individuals, companies, community groups, and charitable trusts. We need your help in order to survive and raise the sum of £300,000 each year to continue our life changing work. If you would like to visit the Wingate Centre and view the facilities to see where your donation will be used, please contact our Fundraising and Marketing Communications Manager, Jo Young on 01270 780456 or email email@example.com. We would be delighted to show you around.
Your gift can help in the following ways:
- £10 will pay for special food for a child with digestive problems.
- £50 pays for an item of tactile equipment to encourage movement and co-ordination in a profoundly disabled child.
- £200 will pay for a child to have a holiday of a lifetime
- £1500 will pay for a fully padded bed surround for a child with involuntary movement or epilepsy.
- £5000 will support a 4 night stay for group of 25 children.
Thanks to your donation we could help up to 1000 children and their carers benefit from a residential visit to the Centre. For some, this will be the first holiday they have ever had. Your donation could also enable local disabled children to use our facilities, to take part in physical activity and to make new friends.
