Make a difference to children’s lives in 2017

The Wingate Centre does not receive any government funding but thanks to our supporters, in 2016,we have hosted over 600 children and carers for a holiday. Each year we need to raise in the region of £300,000 just to keep the doors open and maintain our existing facilities. Where possible we also strive to make improvements to the centre to offer more to our very special visitors. Without our supporters we simply cannot continue with our life-changing work. Thank you.

A huge thanks to the team at Crystal Legal who visited us on Monday 19th December 2016 with a cheque for £1500! We can’t thank you enough!

A huge thanks and well done to the team at Bakkavor Bread who ran the gruelling North West Tough Mudder challenge in aid of The Wingate Centre in September. Some of the team who took part visited the Centre in December to present us with a cheque for the money they raised; an amazing £3330! We can’t thank you enough for your generosity and support.

Thank you so very much to our volunteers from ATOS for all their hard work at The Wingate Centre last week. They worked so hard painting, weeding, chopping and generally making the garden and centre look lovely and tidy. You’ve made a huge impact and we really appreciate it. Thank you!

Crewe Hall have generously supported for over 6 years now and here’s what Christine Lowery Regional HR Manager at QHotels said about the charity:

We have been supporting The Wingate Centre for 6 years now, the work they do is fantastic. We have a lot of parents working for us and the cause is close to their hearts. Each of our departments is set the challenge of organising a fundraising event each year and we have a lot of fun with it – from wear your wellies to work day to a gum ball rally, there is always lots going on here and we’re excited for what 2016 has in store!”
