Volunteers. We Need You!

Are you looking to make a difference? Then we need you! We are always in need of volunteers throughout the year to help with our fundraising events, collections, publicising the Centre and helping with our ongoing maintenance programme.

Volunteer at fundraising events

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAWe raise awareness of our cause at events such as Open Gardens at Cholmondeley, The Big Day Out in Nantwich and at various supermarkets throughout the local area. To make these events a success we rely on ambassadors for The Centre to help spread the word about all the fantastic work we do and to rattle buckets – even if all you can offer us is one day a year, that is really important to us so do get in touch!

We host a number of our own fundraising events too, from quiz nights to a ladies lunch and a Teddy Bears Picnic at Cholmondeley Castle. We are always looking for volunteers to help run things smoothly and to donate delicious goodies that we can offer to our visitors!

Volunteer in The Centre

If you have a useful skill like gardening or are handy with a paint brush then we can always use your help in the Centre to help with our annual maintenance program. This helps us to save hundreds of pounds on maintenance costs and can be very rewarding for those involved.

If you are part of a local organisation or business, volunteering on a maintenance project can also be a great team-building excercise!

If you would like to volunteer for the charity please contact our office on 01270 780456 or email office@thewingatecentre.co.uk
