Fundraising
Our supporters are amazing, and it is thanks to you that The Wingate Centre is in its 37th year. We want to continue to offer subsidised activities for individuals with special education disabilities and to do this the charity needs to raise £500,000 this year.

One third of this amount comes from low fee charges for residential & recreational facilities. The remaining two thirds is generated through fundraising events, community & local businesses, individual fundraisers, and the generosity of Trusts & Grant donations.

Fundraising Ideas

We’re excited to share a new way to support us! We’ve partnered with Utility Warehouse, a service that combines broadband, energy, and other household bills.

Here’s how it helps:
-
When you switch your utilities through our referral link the charity receives a commission.
-
The more services you switch (for example, broadband and energy), the higher the commission we receive.
-
There’s no extra cost to you – it’s a simple way to support our work while managing your household bills.

Every switch through the link directly supports our activities, therapies, and events for the SEND community.

Charlotte from Utility Warehouse will also be hosting a “Bill Clinic” in our reception area, aimed at helping parents get advice on saving money on bills. Dates for the Bill Clinic will be posted soon, so keep an eye on our updates!
