Flipping Fantastic: Our First In-House Gymnastics Competition
On Sunday 6th July, excitement filled The Centre as we proudly held our very first in-house gymnastics competition – and what a day it was!

We had 43 gymnasts, aged 5 to 16, take part in floor, beam, and vault events. Everyone gave it their best effort, showing real focus and determination throughout. The competition was close, and the atmosphere was supportive and upbeat from start to finish.
It was brilliant to see such good sportsmanship, especially during the medal presentations. The encouragement from families and spectators helped make the day feel special and created a strong sense of community.
A big thank you to our judging panel – made up of qualified coaches and committed parents with gymnastics experience. Their input and support were key to making the day run smoothly.​

This event is the first of many we hope to run, both here at home and eventually at other venues. We’re already planning future competitions and looking forward to seeing our gymnasts continue to grow and progress.

We’re now looking forward to celebrating all of our gymnasts across the programme at our Summer Awards Ceremony on Friday 19th July. It’s a great opportunity to recognise their hard work and achievements this year.
