This Sunday, 26 April, Jodie, Erica, Katy, Angela and Molly take on 26.2 miles of London for The Wingate Centre. Between them they have already raised over £7,400 — every pound of it heading straight into the activities, residentials and facilities our young people rely on.
All five JustGiving pages are on our Linktree. Before you scroll any further: pick one, pick all five — please give them a push in the final 72 hours.
Meet the runners
Jodie Traynor — Running London has been on Jodie's list for years, and she's decided to tie it to a cause that makes it count. She's later to the fundraising start line than most and has some ground to make up — if you've only got a fiver in you this week, hers is the page to send it to. Back Jodie →
Erica Taylor — Erica was all set to run "Marathon MyWay" when a London place landed in her lap. Twenty-six point two miles for a charity supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs — her words: every mile is meaningful. Back Erica →
Katy Firth — Katy grew up at Wingate. Gymnastics classes as a kid, birthday parties, volunteering as a teenager, then years on the team. Wingate, she says, is family, community and joy rolled into one. She's already smashed her £2,000 target — let's see how far past it we can push her. Back Katy →
Angela Beecher — Angela has run London four times before and swore she was done. Then her daughter — who started gymnastics at Wingate and now coaches here — talked her into a fifth. Five marathons. Respect. Back Angela →
Molly Goodwin — Another Wingate gymnast, another family with a Wrenbury story. Molly's already over her £2,000 target and is running to give something back to a place she says shaped her childhood. Back Molly →
The route — where to spot them on Sunday
The TCS London Marathon starts in Blackheath and Greenwich and finishes on The Mall. The big crowd spots:
Mile 6 — Cutty Sark, Greenwich. First proper roar of the day.
Mile 12–13 — Tower Bridge. Halfway. The moment every runner remembers.
Mile 19 — Canary Wharf. Loud, echoing, perfect for a Wingate chant.
Mile 25 — Embankment / Big Ben. One mile to go. Shout loudest here.
Mile 26.2 — The Mall. Finish line.
You can track any runner live on the TCS London Marathon app (free, App Store and Google Play) — bib numbers in, live splits out.
How to donate

Can't donate? Still helpful.
Share the Linktree on Facebook. Forward it on WhatsApp. A Saturday-night nudge lands harder than you'd think in the final hours before race day.
Whatever Sunday brings — a PB, a quiet grind, a jelly baby at mile 22 — these five have already done the hard bit: they said yes. On behalf of everyone at Wingate, thank you.
Good luck, team. We'll be watching every step.
Fancy taking on a challenge for Wingate next year?
