Retirement celebration for two long-serving Wingate trustees

A huge thank you to our long-serving trustees Michael Young and Jenny Sproston, who have retired from our board after 30 years supporting The Wingate Centre.
On Friday they popped in for a celebration send-off with a presentation and buffet lunch.
Over the last three decades they've joined in numerous fundraising events, spread the word about our charity's work and sold hundreds of raffle tickets. Plus, Michael brought his experience in the legal sector, while Jenny shared her nursing and health knowledge.
They've been here to see us grow, including welcoming our first residential groups and the opening of our Rieber Hall activity space.
Trustees like Michael and Jenny play a vital role in helping the Wingate support more children and adults with SEND.
